Another try at Peggy's Cove part 2

The lighthouse at Peggy's Cove sits high atop a large rock formation that resembles a whaleback. The rock was carved by glaciers and is part of a huge natural playground that is not without the propensity for accidents. Me heart pounds and want to scream warnings at people who are crazy enough not to heed the warnings to stay away from the black rocks (which are rocks blackened over the years by exposure to tides and rogue waves). I think perhaps that the posted sign is too subtle but then again those that ignore posted warnings don't usually read them.

 Raphael also enjoyed Peggy's Cove

This is my favourite dory photo so far but there will be more I hope.

That night there was a wind and rain storm that kept me and others awake most of the night. The next day we were moving to a campsite closer to Halifax and actually arrived around noon. That was a first for us. Since Ken had not seen Peggy's Cove the day before  (he went to Lunenberg to see the Fisheries Museum), Ruth and I suggested he go to see Peggy's Cove and we went back as well. Instead of clouds we had sunshine and large waves. A wedding party was there for photos and it was fun to watch them, although a little nerve wracking as she and the bridesmaids navigated the rocks in flip flops while the men were in shiny black shoes of the type that usually has slippery soles.
