The 'little' problems with Silver Lining have been addressed by the RV dealer. The black molding is secured with silicone and will not be flapping in the wind on future trips A battery load test showed that the propane detector is not going to drain the battery if I am not plugged in and considering the abundance of provincial parks in this area that is important. The jack has been serviced—translate that as reassembled—and my feet have strict instructions to keep their distance just in case. Despite my telepathic pleas for the undercarriage to be hosed down and all remnants of the yucky muck from Ellensburg removed that task remained to be done.
With my very good friend in the passenger seat we headed for a local car wash. The newest one in town has a very long bay with hoses at both ends and I entertained thoughts of washing the car and trailer simultaneously. Luckily the car had already been washed! The water pressure was phenomenal and when directed at the undercarriage the sh_ _ flew—literally. This halted any future thoughts of washing two vehicles in one bay.
A clean and sweet smelling Silver Lining is now relaxing in her assigned spot and conversing with the rabbits that call that area home.
